How ScanOrbit compares
Two comparisons with tools people already use. Every claim about the other product comes from that company’s own documentation, and carries the date it was read.
Compared with CamScanner
A mobile scanner with two OCR modes, a watermark on free exports, and ID-card layout behind a subscription.
Compared with iLovePDF
A browser PDF toolkit that is genuinely well secured — and still needs the file uploaded before it can do anything.
How these pages are written
Almost every “best alternatives to X” page on the internet is published by a competitor of X, which is why nobody believes them. These pages are published by a competitor too, so they are written to be checked: each claim about another product is taken from that company’s own help or security pages, linked at the bottom, and stamped with the date it was read. Where their documentation does not answer a question, the page says so instead of guessing.
Free tiers, defaults and feature gates change, and a comparison with no date on it is one you cannot check. If something here has gone out of date, or was wrong when it was written, tell us and it gets corrected — including when the correction is in the other company’s favour.
